I bought both the soap and the wax you recommended and they are everything you said they'd be. It's refreshing to get quality information for a change.

Is there a mailing list to which you can add my email address?

Thanks again for the excellent information.

Couldn't have said it better myself. This product line "just works". Not glitzy or glamorous but does everything the label says it will. I have yet to be let down by a Duragloss product that I've used.

Dean - Yeah, it's a sickness. ;)

I haven't used a great many Malco products, but I am familiar with them. A local detailing supply place gave me a sample of Malco's new rubbing compound to try, and I have to say, it's excellent. It's called UFC Foam Restoration Compound. As the title implies, it's meant to be used with a foam polishing pad and a rotary buffer. It's very aggressive stuff. It corrects swirls and scratches easily, and has a nice working time, but as you can imagine with something this aggressive, you'll need to go back over your work with something finer, to refine the finish. UFC will definitely leave holograms behind - this is normal for aggressive cutting polishes.

On the basis of this UFC stuff, and how much I liked it, I'll consider other Malco stuff when the need arises. It was a real pleasant surprise.

I started cleaning and waxing my dads 79 Ford F 150 soon after he got it from the dealership the same year.I hated cleaning and waxing it from the word go. Little did he know the older I got the more I LOVED detailing .It has been 30 yrs now and I can not shake the habit.I dream about detailing almost every night. You know exactly what I mean . It becomes an obsession , because you are never satisfied with your work . You always find something you could do better.I am elated to find that there are other people who are as bad as I am if not worst.being unemployed you do find your self settling for inferior waxes and polishes. I do appreciate the info on good waxes and polishes that are affordable to the Common man. Please let me know about what you guys think about Malco products. Thank again ,hope to hear about any other products that are under 100$.

[...] used it on the black plastic trim (which I wrote about redying recently), too. As with all dressings, it’s not permanent, but it makes a nice difference [...]
